Every part of the work happens with our own people- shop drawings, engineering support, permitting, fabrication, and installation.
- Review complete architectural and structural drawing sets, specifications, addenda, and bid documents to accurately quantify materials, labor, and scope. Prepare Estimates
- Develop accurate, competitive estimates and proposals while identifying potential scope gaps and pricing considerations. Follow Up
- Stay on top of outstanding bids, communicate with customers and builders, and follow up on opportunities to help win the work. Communicate with the Team
- Work closely with other sales team members, CAD, Project Management, and Operations departments to ensure everyone has the information needed to move projects forward What We are Looking For 3+ years of commercial construction estimating experience in Florida Experience estimating aluminum, metal, or similar construction products preferred Bachelor's degree not required Must be able to pass a Drug and Background screen Required Skills and Abilities Valid driver's license with ability to safely access job sites, rooftops, ladders, lifts, and building exteriors High proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Extensive knowledge of commercial construction, including market specific codes and standards Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, shop drawings, and technical specifications strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and time management skills with attention to detail Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; professional company representation Strong working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and adherence to all safety protocols Compensation Package Weekly pay Commission Bonus Health, dental, vision and life insurance Paid time off Employer contributions to company IRA Profit Sharing Bonus Liberty Aluminum Co.
