•$24.00/hr (DOE) A premier local wood finishing team is seeking an experienced Furniture Refinisher to restore, repair, and transform high-quality furniture pieces. Furniture Finisher /
Refinisher Key Responsibilities:
Inspect pieces to determine necessary structural repairs and surface prep. Strip old paint, varnish, and finishes down to bare wood. Repair broken components, fix loose joints, and prep surfaces with precise sanding. Apply stains, paints, sealers, and topcoats using spray guns, brushes, and specialized equipment. Conduct thorough quality control checks while maintaining a safe, properly ventilated workplace. Furniture Finisher / Refinisher Qualifications Proven experience in furniture refinishing, wood restoration, or custom cabinetry work. Strong knowledge of wood species, stains, finishes, and surface preparation techniques. Hands-on expertise with power sanders, spray guns, and woodworking hand tools.
