In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive project estimates, analyzing project plans, and collaborating closely with clients, subcontractors, insurance companies and internal teams. Your expertise will help drive successful project scopes, ensure cost efficiency, and support the overall construction management process. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse projects while honing your skills in construction estimating and project planning. Having experience in Mitigation and Restoration is a huge plus. Duties Review and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents to develop comprehensive estimates. Utilize estimating software Xactimate to prepare precise cost analyses and scopes of work. Communicate with insurance companies. Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to evaluate project scope. Prepare detailed estimate packages, including pricing summaries, scope of work descriptions, and contractual considerations. Experience Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction management principles.. Familiarity with Xactimate or similar estimating software is essential for accurate bid preparation. Demonstrated knowledge of construction site operations, contracts, and project management processes. Good communication skills in order to communicate with insurance companies, adjusters, and staff. Background in construction site experience or fieldwork enhances understanding of on-the-ground realities impacting estimates.
