Responsibilities Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for luxury custom home projects. Review architectural plans, specifications, and engineering documents to develop complete project budgets. Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier bids. Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze labor, material, and equipment costs. Collaborate with project managers, architects, designers, and clients throughout the preconstruction process. Identify value engineering opportunities while maintaining project quality and design intent. Maintain current pricing databases and stay informed on market trends and material costs. Support budgeting, scheduling, and project planning efforts from concept through construction. Qualifications Proven experience estimating residential construction projects, preferably luxury custom homes. Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and building codes. Experience preparing detailed estimates for projects valued at $5 million or more is preferred. Proficiency with construction estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Stable, consistent work history within the residential construction industry.
