Restoration/Reconstruction Estimator Job Type:

Water Mitigation / Reconstruction About the Position We are looking for an experienced Restoration Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience estimating residential and commercial restoration and reconstruction projects and be comfortable working with insurance carriers, adjusters, and third-party administrators. The Restoration Estimator will be responsible for accurately assessing damages, preparing detailed estimates, communicating with customers and insurance professionals, and helping move projects from initial inspection through approval and production. Responsibilities

• Inspect properties and assess damage from water, fire, storm, and other losses
• Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for restoration and reconstruction work
• Create and manage estimates using Xactimate and Symbility
• Review scopes of work, photographs, and supporting documentation
• Communicate with homeowners, adjusters, insurance carriers, and TPA programs
• Work with project managers and production teams to ensure estimates accurately reflect the required work
• Revise estimates as needed based on changes in scope or insurance requirements
• Maintain accurate project documentation
• Assist with supplements and change orders when necessary
• Ensure estimates are completed accurately and within required timelines Required Qualifications
• Previous restoration estimating experience
• Proficiency with Xactimate - REQUIRED
• Proficiency with Symbility - REQUIRED
• Experience with residential and/or commercial reconstruction
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and restoration processes
• Ability to read and understand scopes of work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with insurance claims and adjusters
• Experience with TPA programs and platforms
• Xactimate certification
• Experience with water, fire, smoke, mold, and storm restoration
• Knowledge of local building codes and permitting processes

Pay:

$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
