Thrive owning heavy, full-cycle bids from kickoff through turnover? Stay engaged post-award with buyouts and scope clarifications? Know national piping codes and how they shape your scopes? Estimate in commercial, healthcare, K-12, or industrial settings—or build conceptual budgets from schematic design? Partner smoothly with vendors and subcontractors? Work confidently in Quotesoft, Accubid, or similar estimating software? Communicate clearly, build positive team culture, and are willing to relocate? What you will take ownership of End-to-end bid management, including quantification, pricing strategy, and proposal development. Scope-letter writing that crisply defines inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications. Coordinating quotes and coverage with qualified vendors and subcontractors. Project handoffs and kickoffs that set construction up for success. Buyouts and post-award support to align scope and cost. Post-mortems that capture lessons learned and improve the next pursuit. What sets you up for success Construction and piping background with substantial bidding experience. Knowledge of national piping codes applied within estimates and scopes.
Sector versatility:
commercial, healthcare, K-12, or industrial; plus ability to produce conceptual estimates (budgets, schematic design). Vendor/subcontractor relationships that yield timely, competitive pricing. Proficiency in Quotesoft, Accubid, or comparable estimating tools. Strong communication habits that promote a fair, positive team environment. Willingness to relocate as needed.
