Position Summary:

The Sales Estimator will sell to new and existing clients and schedule sales appointments via generated leads. This position will estimate the roofing service needs of clients; by site inspection, to produce a scope of work, pricing for materials and labor and a written proposal. This position will report to the Service Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Set sales appointments with key decision makers at prospective client companies. Establish rapport and developing long-term business relationships with clients. Make sales presentations and partner with clients to establish their needs. Present clients with the most appropriate solutions. Create proposals and reports for clients or generate estimates from blueprint drawings, specifications, field notes, drawings, and inspections depending on client needs. Submit all contacts and documentation in a timely manner; maintain sales call logs. Follow up with clients on a periodic basis to ensure that their expectations are being met and to get referrals.

Qualifications:

High School diploma 3 + years of experience in co mmercial roofing sales or 10+ years field experience. MS Office, and MS Project experience. Previous estimating experience helpful. Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
