Salary:

$100,000 to $120,000 per year, based on experience 401(k) plan Company vehicle Generous paid time off Health care plans with vision and dental coverage Opportunity to grow with an established commercial HVAC and mechanical contractor Work on plan-and-spec, design-build, and negotiated mechanical construction projects Why You'll Love It Here Join an established and respected commercial HVAC and mechanical services company Put your estimating expertise to work on meaningful commercial construction projects Collaborate directly with project managers, sales, and leadership to build competitive, profitable bids Take ownership of estimates from initial plan review through project handoff Identify value-engineering opportunities that can strengthen project outcomes Grow your career as Advanced Heating & Cooling continues to expand its mechanical construction operations Your New Role Prepare accurate cost estimates and competitive bids for commercial HVAC and mechanical construction projects Review construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work for plan-and-spec, design-build, and negotiated projects Perform detailed material takeoffs for ductwork, piping, HVAC equipment, and related mechanical systems Solicit, review, and evaluate pricing from vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers Develop detailed bid proposals covering labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs Analyze mechanical plans and specifications to identify project scope, risks, and value-engineering opportunities Collaborate with project managers, sales, and leadership throughout the estimating and bidding process Track submitted bids, bid results, and win/loss information Maintain historical cost data and pricing databases to support accurate HVAC estimating Attend pre-bid meetings and job walks as needed Assist with the transition of awarded projects from estimating to the project management and operations teams

Hiring Expectations:

Apply today, complete a quick phone screening, and get ready for an interview with our team to discuss your goals and experience. 5+ years of experience estimating commercial mechanical or HVAC construction projects Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, ductwork, piping, and mechanical equipment Experience with plan-and-spec estimating and bidding processes Ability to read and interpret commercial construction drawings, blueprints, specifications, and scopes of work Experience performing mechanical and HVAC material takeoffs and developing detailed cost estimates Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Strong mathematical, analytical, organizational, and time-management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Advanced Heating & Cooling is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
