Fenton, MO Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Construction drawing review Project management experience in construction Full Job Description ABF Security is looking for someone experienced with construction projects or a technician looking to move out of the field and use their experience on the estimator or sales side of the business. You will develop opportunities involving fire alarm, access control, video surveillance/CCTV, intrusion and integrated systems. You will work with customers, estimators, designers and operations to turn field conditions and project requirements into practical, code-aware solutions that can be sold and installed successfully.
What you will do:
Build relationships and develop new opportunities through prospecting, referrals, networking and customer education. Survey sites, review plans/specifications and lead technical discovery. Develop system concepts, estimates, proposals and scope narratives. Prepare or coordinate layouts, shop drawings, submittals, battery calculations and voltage-drop calculations. Coordinate with customers, engineers, architects, AHJs and construction trades. Identify scope changes and support change orders. Own follow-up and maintain visibility into your pipeline and forecast. Stay engaged from opportunity development through handoff and project coordination.
What you bring:
Required:
Ability to read plans and understand construction coordination. Strong customer communication, presentation, organization and project-management skills.

Have:
2+ years of relevant fire protection/system design experience. NICET Level II or higher. Strong knowledge of fire/building codes and NFPA requirements relevant to the work.
