Job Description
Job Overview Tounsley Electric Inc. is a growing electrical contractor specializing in commercial, industrial, and service electrical construction. We pride ourselves on delivering quality workmanship while fostering a collaborative, safety-focused workplace. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team and play a key role in winning projects and supporting our continued growth. Duties Analyze project plans, specifications, and bid documents. Perform detailed quantity takeoffs. Prepare accurate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor estimates. Obtain and evaluate vendor quotations. Develop competitive bid proposals. Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits. Coordinate project handoff to operations after award. Maintain estimating records and cost databases. Work closely with project managers, vendors and customers. Experience 2+ years of electrical estimating experience preferred. Commercial and industrial electrical experience preferred. Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC). Strong understanding of construction methods and electrical systems. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Experience with Estimating software such as Accubid, McCormic, ConEst, or similar is preferred. Valid driver's license.
