Estimator Leddy Group - 3.8 Nashua, NH Job Details Full-time 2 days ago Qualifications Vendor relationship building Research Full Job Description Estimator Our client is seeking an Estimator to support equipment and aftermarket sales of their high-temperature vacuum and controlled-atmosphere furnace systems. This is a great full-time, first-shift opportunity in a stable industry! Responsibilities of the Estimator Prepare accurate, timely estimates Review mechanical drawings, bills of material, and specifications to identify cost drivers and required scope Research historical orders, drawings, labor data, and material costs to support estimate accuracy Request, review, and compare vendor quotes for materials, components, and outside services Develop and maintain vendor relationships and identify alternate sourcing opportunities Analyze cost variances and share recommendations Maintain standard cost databases Support value engineering efforts to improve cost, manufacturability, and lead time Qualifications of the Estimator Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret detail assembly drawings Experience estimating mechanical components, fabricated parts, capital equipment, or industrial systems preferred Ability to understand tolerances, materials, manufacturing methods, and related cost impacts Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized self-starter able to multitask, manage multiple priorities, and meet quick turnaround requirements Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel Technical degree is preferred but not required Please share your resume in confidence for this Estimator position.
