Job Description

PLUMBING ESTIMATOR - CENTRAL NJ

Growing mechanical/plumbing contractor is seeking an experienced Plumbing Estimator to join its team. This is a great opportunity for someone who can take commercial plumbing projects from bid documents through final proposal.

Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed estimates, material takeoffs, and bid proposals Review blueprints, specifications, and scope of work Obtain pricing from vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers Analyze labor, material, equipment, and project costs Handle RFIs, addenda, and estimate revisions Support design-build and commercial construction projects

Qualifications:

3+ years of commercial plumbing estimating experience Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and NJ codes Ability to read construction drawings and specifications Experience with estimating/takeoff software such as Bluebeam, QuickPen, or similar Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple bids and tight deadlines Competitive salary, benefits, 401(k), and strong growth opportunity.
