We are a stone fabrication company specializing in countertops and custom stone work for commercial and residential projects. The Commercial Estimator will be responsible for reviewing project drawings, plans, and specifications, preparing accurate estimates, and working closely with contractors, project managers, vendors, and our internal team. Responsibilities Review architectural drawings, plans, specifications, and bid documents Perform material takeoffs and calculate square footage and quantities Prepare detailed estimates for commercial stone projects Estimate material, fabrication, labor, installation, and other project costs Request and review material and vendor pricing Prepare proposals and bid packages Track bid deadlines and ensure estimates are submitted on time Review addendums and revisions and update estimates accordingly Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, drawings, and project information Qualifications Previous estimating experience required; stone fabrication, countertops, millwork, tile, construction, or a related trade is strongly preferred Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and specifications Strong knowledge of measurements, square footage, and material takeoffs Detail-oriented and organized Comfortable working with multiple projects and deadlines Strong communication and follow-up skills Proficient with computers, email, Excel, and estimating/takeoff software What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable handling commercial projects from the initial bid through project handoff. The ideal candidate understands that accurate estimating requires attention to detail and a clear understanding of the complete project scope.
