Job Description Derse Inc., a leader in experiential marketing and trade show exhibits, seeks an Estimator to develop accurate cost estimates for custom environments, exhibits, and events. In this role, you will analyze designs, drawings, and specifications; determine materials, labor, and timelines; and collaborate closely with creative, engineering, and fabrication teams. You'll support proposals and budgets, engage vendors, and track estimate performance. Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for experiential marketing exhibits and environments Analyze drawings, specs, and creative concepts to determine materials, labor, and timelines Collaborate with design, engineering, and fabrication teams to refine project scope and pricing Obtain and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes Develop and maintain estimating templates, cost databases, and pricing standards Support account and project managers in proposals, budgets, and value engineering options Review job performance versus estimates to improve accuracy Ensure estimates align with client objectives, brand standards, and margin targets Participate in handoff meetings from estimating to production teams Contribute to process improvements within the estimating function Required Skills Cost estimating Blueprint and technical drawing reading Bill of materials development Vendor and subcontractor quoting Excel and spreadsheet modeling Estimating or ERP software Construction/fabrication methods knowledge Time management Data analysis and cost benchmarking Proposal and report writing
