Beyond TalentEdge has a direct hire opportunity for an experienced Estimator of Environmental Remediation, Demolition. Our client is a leader in this very specialized industry of environmental remediation (lead, mold, PCBs and asbestos), demolition, and the installation of firestopping and fireproofing. In the Estimator role you will apply your knowledge of specialized methodologies, techniques, principles, or processes, analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, material, equipment, and labor estimates involved in assigned products, projects, or services. You will also prepares bids is in full compliance with all federal, state and local rules and regulations and takes into account the safety of employees, the safety of others, including the public, and the environment. Responsibilities (partial list): Attend project walkthroughs and manage all correspondence with project team & vendors during bidding process Perform take-offs and apply unit pricing to create proposals. Submit bids as required. Review bid documents & manage all correspondence with project teams Process project specific submittals Work with insurance carriers, as needed, to secure bid bonds Collaborate with Project Managers throughout projects to review & discuss projects costs vs. estimate along with interact with customer throughout project to execute change orders and contract changes as required

Education & Experience:

High School Diploma 5+ years experience in the environmental remediation and/or demolition industry

Salary Range:
