In this role, you will be the key driver in accurately assessing print jobs, preparing cost estimates, and collaborating with sales, production and supply chain teams to ensure seamless project execution. Your expertise will help optimize resource allocation, streamline production planning, and deliver high-quality print solutions that meet client expectations. Duties Analyze customer specifications and project requirements to develop precise print cost estimates Collaborate with sales and production teams to review project scope, timelines, and resource needs Utilize print estimation software (Printsmith or other) to input specifications and deliver price estimate to sales Apply lean manufacturing principles to identify efficiencies in estimating processes and reduce waste Coordinate demand planning and forecasting efforts to ensure material availability and optimal inventory control Prepare detailed proposals including pricing, lead times, and production schedules for clients Monitor supply chain activities related to raw materials, ensuring timely procurement and inventory management Support production planning by providing accurate estimations that align with capacity constraints and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems Maintain comprehensive records of estimates, revisions, and project documentation for future reference Experience Proven experience in manufacturing or print estimating roles with a strong understanding of supply chain management principles Familiarity with print software platforms Knowledge of demand planning, forecasting techniques, and MRP processes to optimize inventory levels Experience implementing lean manufacturing methodologies to improve estimation accuracy and operational efficiency Strong background in supply chain management including procurement, inventory management, and logistics coordination Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and customer specifications accurately Effective communication skills for collaborating across departments and presenting detailed estimates confidently Join us in shaping innovative print solutions by leveraging your expertise in manufacturing processes, supply chain dynamics, and advanced ERP systems.
