General responsibilities would include:

Analyzing blueprints and other project documentation to prepare time, cost, material, and labor estimates Assessing the cost effectiveness of projects or services, tracking actual costs as the project develops Consulting with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates Preparing cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project Conducting site visits and gathering all necessary data (like number of workers, equipment and materials needed) Using software for data analysis, forecasting and budgeting Presenting estimates to clients, contractors and other project stakeholders Identifying and quantifying cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses Candidate profile should include: Bachelors Degree in related field; experience will be considered in lieu of a Degree 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, with civil experience strongly preferred Strong communicative skills, expertise managing client correspondences Experience working with Estimating software and MS Office Nesco Resource provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
