Full Job Description Estimator Shift:

$100,000 - $140,000 plus bonus and dependence on experience Who we are We are a well-established industrial services provider located in Canton, OH, that maintains a close-knit, family-oriented culture despite our significant scale. Our organization is currently in a high-growth phase with plans to double or triple in size over the next two to four years. We serve diverse industrial clients and are looking for dedicated professionals to help modernize our systems and revitalize our civil division. Estimator Role This role exists to provide accurate, competitive estimates for a wide variety of industrial civil projects, ranging from small service repairs to major facility improvements. The Estimator is responsible for scoping projects, managing client relationships, and ensuring the financial viability of our civil division's project portfolio. Estimator Responsibilities Conduct thorough on-site walkdowns at industrial facilities to determine project scope and requirements Develop detailed cost estimates for industrial civil tasks such as concrete containment, pipe bollard installation, and grouting Create project outlines and mental blueprints in environments where formal drawings or specifications are frequently unavailable Generate accurate quotes for office, restroom, and cafeteria remodels within industrial sites Collaborate with industrial clients to understand their specific service needs and provide tailored project solutions Manage the procurement of materials and coordinate equipment logistics for newly awarded projects Review and approve vendor invoices while overseeing the completion of project-related billing Maintain active communication with customers throughout the bidding process and project initiation Monitor active job site progress occasionally to ensure work aligns with estimated costs and quality standards Assist in the modernization of estimating systems as the company transitions to cloud-based platforms Estimator Reporting Relationships The Estimator reports directly to the Division Lead. This role does not currently have any direct reports. About You Possess extensive experience in industrial construction or industrial services environments Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of concrete work, excavation, and structural remodels Display the ability to visualize and build estimates from scratch without the use of detailed engineering drawings Maintain advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for project tracking and cost modeling Communicate clearly and professionally with industrial facility managers and internal field teams Exhibit a strong work ethic and the adaptability required to thrive in a growing, transforming organization Apply basic project management principles to coordinate materials and vendor logistics Show a willingness to travel locally up to three hours from the home facility for site visits and quotes Demonstrate analytical skills necessary to manage a project book ranging from $5,000 to $1,000,000 Maintain a "field-first" mindset with the professional discipline to operate in a high-level administrative capacity Next Steps If you are analytical and adaptable, we would like to hear from you.Additional Information Equal Opportunity Employer:
