Job Description

Junior Estimator (Entry-Level) Position Summary The Junior Estimator supports the estimating team with take-offs, bid preparation, and mapping analysis. This role utilizes GIS tools and mapping software to measure properties, analyze site data, and support accurate bid development. This is an entry-level role with hands-on exposure to real projects, working closely with estimators, account managers, and operations teams. What You'll Do Assist with material and labor take-offs for bids Use GIS and mapping tools to measure properties and analyze site data Support preparation of proposals for maintenance and enhancement work Enter and manage bid information in company systems (Aspire or similar) Review plans, aerial imagery, and site data to support estimating accuracy Help ensure bids are accurate and submitted on time Maintain organized project files and documentation Participate in occasional site visits and field walks What We're Looking For 0-2 years of experience in estimating, GIS, construction, landscaping, or related field Experience or coursework in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) preferred Familiarity with tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar mapping platforms Degree (or currently pursuing) in: o GIS / Geography o Construction Management o Horticulture o Engineering or related field Strong attention to detail and organization Basic math skills (measurements, quantities, calculations) Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and computer systems Strong communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus) Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays 401(k) with company match (if applicable) Career development opportunities
