As our business continues to expand, we are seeking to hire an industry experienced Construction Estimator . This person will estimate projects by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. In addition, they estimate labor, material, and time requirements in order to be able to compute the overall cost of the project. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations. The ideal candidate will be very comfortable with numbers and analytical. You must have great attention to detail and excellent communication skills. The goal is to provide the company with accurate information that will help in operations and strategic planning. The Project Manager/Estimator must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with the entire team, to estimate project costs for fixed price bids, proposals and change orders. Estimator's job is to leverage field experience, industry knowledge and solid analytical skills to prepare accurate job costs. Fundamental to this role is the ability to make sound assumptions and identify gaps in construction documents.
