Job Description Neff Specialties is a specialty construction product sales office that provides a wide range of interior finish products for commercial construction projects. We are seeking applicants for a full-time Estimator for overhead doors and operable partitions.

Location:

Hastings, PA Estimator Duties and Responsibilities

• Work toward comprehensive knowledge of products and options
• Gather and organize contract documents
• Review construction drawings and specifications to gain an understanding of project scope
• Write and submit Requests for Information
• Create effective strategies for competitive pricing
• Prepare an accurate take-off for use in procuring vendor pricing
• Prepare labor estimates
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Follow up with customers on estimates to secure work and gather useful feedback
• Negotiate and close contracts with customers
• Create and maintain positive relationships with vendors and customers
• Report and escalate issues to senior team members or management as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned Estimator Skills and Qualifications
• Highly organized and motivated
• Strong communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient in reading blueprints
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu is a plus!
• Overhead Door Sales experience preferred.
