Experienced Earthwork Estimator Lititz, PA | Musser's Excavating Musser's Excavating is actively hiring an experienced Earthwork Estimator to support our growing workload. We have a strong backlog and increasing demand , and we're looking to bring the right person on board as soon as possible . What You'll Do Estimate site development, earthwork, utilities, and demolition Perform quantity takeoffs from plans and specs Solicit and evaluate subcontractor & supplier pricing Work closely with project managers and field crews to ensure real-world accuracy Identify risks, cost savings, and value engineering opportunities What We're Looking For 3+ years experience in earthwork / sitework estimating Strong knowledge of grading, excavation, and utilities Ability to read and interpret civil drawings Experience with HeavyBid, HCSS, PlanSwift, or similar Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple bids What We Offer $85,000 - $100,000 salary (based on experience) Strong backlog with steady project flow ($250K - $5M jobs) Direct impact on project wins and company growth Work directly with ownership and PMs (no layers) Balanced workload + realistic deadlines No corporate red tape or BS —just a solid team doing things right If you understand dirt work, take pride in your work, and want to be part of a team that respects what you do—we'd like to talk.
