Job Description

A well-established and growing commercial construction company is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong estimating experience who can manage projects from initial bid through award while working closely with subcontractors, vendors, project managers, and ownership.
Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial construction projects Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and bid documents Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost analysis Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor bids Develop comprehensive bid proposals and pricing Identify potential project risks, exclusions, and scope gaps Collaborate with Project Managers and Operations throughout the preconstruction process Maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and industry partners Assist with value engineering and project budgeting
Qualifications:
5+ years of commercial construction estimating experience Strong experience with hard-bid estimating preferred Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong understanding of commercial construction means, methods, and costs Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
