40.0 Responsibilities Analyze and complete shipyard bids, including detailed cost and time estimations for assigned projects. Identify and seek new business opportunities for the shipyard, including travel to customer facilities and vessels. Review all customer specifications, technical data, and drawings thoroughly. Communicate all special requirements, financial, bonding, and security needs to the General Manager. Complete proposals, submittals, estimates, and bid summary sheets. Highlight and communicate all project-specific details to relevant team members. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and prioritization. Proficiently use Microsoft applications including Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook. Utilize AutoCAD knowledge and experience to interpret blueprints. Understand and apply knowledge of marine classification rules, USCG, and regulatory requirements. Requirements Bachelor's or Associate degree in a relevant field (preferred, not required) Minimum of ten (10) years of marine and engineering experience Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly organized with ability to work autonomously and within a team Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workloads Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Project, Word, Excel, and Outlook AutoCAD knowledge and experience Ability to read and understand blueprints General knowledge of a wide range of commercial marine vessels Understanding of marine classification society rules, USCG, and other regulatory requirements System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
