Job Description Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial and municipal construction projects. Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documents to identify project requirements. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure accurate project scoping. Source and evaluate quotes from subcontractors and suppliers. Develop and maintain a database of cost information for materials and labor. Assist in value engineering to optimize project costs and efficiency. Present cost estimates and proposals to stakeholders in a clear and professional manner. Monitor project budgets and adjust estimates as necessary to reflect changes in scope or conditions.
