Maryville, TN | Weekly Pay | Full Benefits Signature Labor Services is hiring an experienced Steel & Alloy Fabricator in Maryville, TN !• We are seeking candidates from Maryville, Knoxville, Alcoa, Louisville, Friendsville, Lenoir City, Oak Ridge, Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and surrounding areas within approximately a 1-hour commute .• Job Summary Plans, estimates, and designs construction sheet metal projects. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Oversee and review project plans, requirements and specifications Demonstrated leadership ability to coordinate a team to develop an estimate Determine labor and equipment costs Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing Understand project logistics and project schedule Understand all bid documents and assess project risks Review quotes and estimates with the project team Prepare estimates and different levels of completion (conceptual, schematic, DD, CD, etc.) Orchestrate pre-construction duties and meeting with owners, clients and engineers Serve as company interface between owner & architect Responsible for developing leadership motivation, and communication with owners, subs and project team Education and/or

Experience:

High School Diploma or the equivalent (GED), plus five years experience in related field and/or Bachelor's degree (preferred) as well as working on projects ranging from one hundred thousand to five million dollars, advanced computer skills with estimating software, self-directed, self-reliant and resourceful, extensive knowledge of construction costs and engineering principles, and understanding of sheet metal, duct work and misc. metal concepts.

Computer Skills:

Ability to use Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Solid Works and other mechanical drawing programs.
