They are looking to hire a Mechanical Engineer with experience supporting large-scale HVAC and plumbing systems within commercial construction environments. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected contractor delivering complex projects including data centers, healthcare, higher education, industrial, and large commercial developments. Dallas, TX Responsibilities:
Design and coordinate HVAC, piping, and mechanical systems for commercial construction projects Support preconstruction, estimating, and operations teams during project planning and execution Produce and review mechanical calculations, equipment selections, and technical submittals Coordinate with project managers, field teams, architects, engineers, and subcontractors Assist with BIM/VDC coordination and clash detection processes Ensure designs comply with local codes, project specifications, and client standards Support commissioning and project closeout activities where required Participate in value engineering and constructability reviewsRequirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline Experience within commercial mechanical construction or MEP contracting Strong understanding of HVAC systems, chilled water, piping, and plumbing design Experience working on large commercial, industrial, healthcare, or mission-critical projects preferred Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, BIM coordination, and mechanical design software Strong communication and coordination skills EIT or PE license is advantageous but not essential What's onOffer:
