About the Role We're seeking an experienced Sr. Project Controls Professional to support an ongoing site-based assignment in Baton Rouge (St. Francisville), LA or Corpus Christi, TX, with future projects also requiring on-site presence across the U.S. This senior-level role is ideal for a detail-oriented, collaborative professional with a strong background in cost control and construction progress tracking. You'll work as part of a dedicated project controls team, collaborating closely with construction teams and vendors to ensure accurate cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle. What You'll DoLead the setup, monitoring, and forecasting of project cost and progress metricsManage all cost control elements, including budget development and updates, scope change tracking, and expenditure/forecast reportingMaintain accurate data in cost control systems and toolsAnalyze revenue and cost performance and recommend corrective actions to project and construction managersReview and approve contractor pay applications, ensuring compliance with contractual termsTrack and report on construction physical progress using Earned Value Management (EVM)Coordinate with contractors to collect and upload weekly progress data into project systemsWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field — or equivalent experience in lieu of a degreeMinimum of 15 years of experience in project controls, with a strong focus on cost management and field operationsFamiliarity with construction contracts and pay application processesExperience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with project controls teams, construction teams, and vendorsWillingness and ability to travel for on-site assignmentsPreferred QualificationsProficiency in project controls and scheduling software, including Oracle, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, EcoSys, Unifier, or SynchroIndustry-recognized certifications such as Certified Cost Professional (CCP), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or Risk Management Professional (RMP) #ProjectControls #CostControl #ConstructionJobs #EarnedValueManagement #ProjectManagement #EngineeringJobs #ConstructionManagement
