Schedule:
Monday-Friday (Full-Time) High Country Metal Works is hiring an Estimator / Project Coordinator to support our growing pipeline of residential and commercial metal fabrication projects. This is an in-office role based in Provo. No direct industry experience required. We will train you on our process, materials, and how to estimate our type of work. What matters most is that you are sharp, organized, and highly capable with computers and systems. What You'll Be Doing Review project plans, drawings, and specifications Perform material takeoffs and build detailed project estimates Search, review, and organize bidding documents for upcoming work Enter, update, and manage job data in our construction software (JobTread) Conduct occasional job site visits to take field measurements Communicate with customers to clarify scope and project details Assist with building and distributing quotes to clients Track and organize project information, documents, and internal records Help monitor internal production data (labor time, job costs, etc.) to improve profitability Work with ownership—final bids are reviewed before submission What We're Looking For Strong computer skills and high comfort with software/technology Interest in using AI tools to improve efficiency and workflow Highly detail-oriented and organized Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking Good communication skills (both internal and customer-facing) Ability to learn quickly and take ownership of responsibilities Construction or estimating experience is a plus, but not required Compensation & Benefits Full-time, stable position (Monday-Friday) Paid Time Off (PTO) No healthcare benefits offered at this time Competitive pay based on experience Why This Role Matters You will play a key role in the front end of every project—impacting accuracy, profitability, and overall execution.
