Applied Ex Inc is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Excavation Estimator/Project Manager to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in bidding, winning, and delivering excavation projects from start to finish. Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for excavation, grading, and earthwork projects Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop detailed scopes of work Manage multiple excavation projects simultaneously from pre-construction through completion Coordinate with field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate project conditions and requirements Track project budgets, schedules, and progress reports while communicating updates to stakeholders Build and maintain relationships with clients, general contractors, and vendors

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in excavation, earthwork, or heavy civil construction estimating and/or project management Strong understanding of excavation methods, grading, utilities, and site development Proficiency with estimating software and takeoff tools (e.g., HCSS, Bluebeam, or similar) Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail Effective communicator with the ability to lead teams and manage client relationships Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites in and around
