Construction Estimator DBA Stetz Construction Lakewood, WA Job Details Full-time $65,000 - $85,000 a year 2 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications Contract documentation review Customer communication Construction specifications Contract review Interpersonal skills Customer service Contract interpretation Driver's License Project management Construction drawing review Attention to detail Customer relationship management Estimating construction project budgets Cost estimate preparation Full Job Description Job Duties Produce detailed scopes of work and estimates that are accurate and fair Seek out new work, attend job walks, and deliver bids in timely manner Prepares cost estimates by preforming take-offs for scopes of work that we self-preform Solicits and obtains material quotes and subcontractor quotes Identifies and reports errors, ambiguities, and missing information in contract documents Maintain high production, safe work habits, and high morale/motivational levels on the job Complete and forward all necessary paperwork in a timely manner to proper department/contact Communicate with customer's agents, other contractors, subcontractors, and others as required Maintain and promote good customer relations at all times Work as part of a team in an office-setting & comply with company policy and procedural guidelines Other duties as assigned Requirements Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related degree and 3+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to accurately read plans and interpret contract specifications Experience estimating public works and/or private projects: Commercial, Residential, Industrial, and/or Civil Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail Excellent customer service skills and team player willing to grow in this company Must have a valid WA state driver's license, reliable vehicle, and a clean driving record Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check
