Experienced Estimator - Turner Restoration Turner Restoration is seeking an experienced and motivated Estimator to join our growing team. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual with strong communication and organizational skills, as well as experience in residential and commercial restoration estimating and reconstruction. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, capable of working independently, and able to accurately assess damages, prepare estimates, and communicate effectively with insurance companies, subcontractors, vendors, and customers.

Responsibilities:

Inspect residential and commercial losses related to water, fire, mold, storm, and other property damage claims Prepare accurate estimates for mitigation, repairs, and reconstruction projects Utilize estimating software such as Xactimate (preferred) Communicate professionally with insurance adjusters, customers, subcontractors, and office staff Create detailed scopes of work and material lists Coordinate project schedules and assist with project management as needed Review job costs and ensure projects remain within budget guidelines Maintain proper documentation, photos, and records for each project Travel to job sites as required Work overtime when needed to meet project demands Maintain professionalism and customer service at all times

Requirements:

Previous restoration and/or construction estimating experience preferred Experience with Xactimate or similar estimating software strongly preferred Knowledge of residential and commercial construction practices Understanding of insurance restoration processes is preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation No DUIs or extensive driving violations within the past 5 years Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and varying weather conditions when needed Must be dependable, self-motivated, and have the ability to stay on task and be team-oriented Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
