About us: Central Washington Asphalt, Inc. opened in 1982 and is a privately held contracting company specializing in commercial paving and road construction. The company began with 7 trucks and has grown to a fleet of over 300 tractors, dump trucks, belly dumps, and other related equipment. Started and based in Moses Lake, WA, the company has grown to include locations in Wenatchee, Benton City, Yakima, Spokane, Coulee City, Colville, Omak, WA, and Milton-Freewater, OR. Central Washington Asphalt, Inc. does projects throughout Eastern Washington, Northern Oregon, and Idaho. Since 2005, Central Washington Asphalt has received the "First Place Quality Award" from the Washington State Department of Transportation 26 times for work completed on WSDOT projects.
Job description:
We are continuing to grow and expand and are currently looking for a JUNIOR ESTIMATOR/or/PROJECT MANAGER in our Wenatchee, WA office. Position title/responsibilities will be assigned based on education and experience. The right person for this position will be responsible for projects from start to finish. This will include the start of the bidding process, the organization of people, materials, subcontractors, and project owners through to completion. This position requires excellent computer skills. Travel will be required. The project manager is responsible for all aspects of projects. Salary will be based on experience.
Responsibilities:
Project estimating, budgeting, scheduling Management of subcontractors Materials purchasing for projects Work with project superintendent to ensure timely completion of all projects. Effectively schedule resources based on the requirements of the project. Achieve excellence in completion of all projects, including meeting or exceeding required specs. Pre-con meetings as required Punch list completion and warranty process
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management preferred or equivalent job experience Solid computer skills This is a salaried exempt position, and the candidate is required to be located in
Wenatchee, WA Leadership Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to solve problems in a positive manner Enjoys working with a team Proven ability to delegate and train Salary/Position will be based on experience.
Salary:
From $81,000 to $125,000 per year,
