Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our flooring team. In this role, you will be responsible for demo nstalling, repairing, and restoring a variety of flooring materials across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces by ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, develop your skills in flooring installation, and contribute to creating beautiful, durable surfaces that meet client expectations. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and repairing subfloors using hand tools and power tools Install various flooring materials including hardwood, vinyl, tile, carpet, epoxy coatings, and laminate with precision and care Use hand tools such as saws, drills, trowels, and caulking guns to cut, shape, and secure flooring components Perform floor refinishing tasks such as sanding, buffing, sealing, and water damage restoration to enhance durability and appearance Follow safety protocols for building installation safety compliance during all phases of work Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high standards of quality Requirements Proven experience in flooring installation or related construction fields with knowledge of building material installation techniques Skilled in handling hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various flooring tasks Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans Ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting heavy materials and working in physically demanding environments Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus for project planning purposes Experience with epoxy floor installation, tile laying, hardwood floor installation, vinyl floor installation, carpet installation, and floor refinishing is highly desirable Strong understanding of building installation safety compliance standards and procedures Additional skills such as drywall work, caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, remodeling experience or handyman skills are beneficial Join our team if you're passionate about craftsmanship and eager to contribute your skills in a fast-paced environment.
