Flamingo Cleaning Company is looking for an experienced floor care subcontractor to complete upcoming commercial strip and wax projects. This is independent contractor / subcontractor work , not an hourly employee position. We currently have multiple projects that need to be scheduled and are looking for someone reliable who we can continue working with for future floor-care projects. Responsibilities Strip existing wax/finish from commercial flooring Properly clean and prepare floors Apply multiple coats of commercial floor finish/wax Complete detailed edge and corner work Leave floors clean, even, and professionally finished Protect surrounding walls, baseboards, fixtures, and property Complete work within the agreed project schedule Requirements Previous professional strip and wax / VCT floor care experience Must know how to properly operate floor-care equipment Must have reliable transportation Must be dependable and communicate well Must be able to complete commercial projects independently Must provide quality, professional results Own floor machine, wet vacuum, pads, tools, and necessary floor-care equipment Experience working as an independent cleaning or floor-care contractor Preferred General liability insurance Compensation Project-based subcontractor pay. Current strip and wax projects are approximately $400 per job , with additional floor-care opportunities available. Final scope, scheduling, and payment will be agreed upon before each project begins. Work Location Various commercial locations in Southern California.
