Job Description
Overview We are seeking skilled and motivated flooring crews to join our team in and Orange County. This dynamic opportunity is perfect for experienced construction professionals passionate about flooring installation, tile laying, and restoration projects. As part of our dedicated crew, you will play a vital role in transforming spaces with precision and craftsmanship, ensuring each project meets the highest standards of quality and durability. Pay rate is piecework Responsibilities Install various flooring materials such as hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, and carpet with attention to detail and safety. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and floor plans to execute precise installations. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, fitting, caulking, trimming, and finishing work. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and repairing subfloors or existing flooring before installation. Perform water damage restoration tasks including moisture assessment and floor repairs as needed. Handle fixture installation, cabinet setup, trim carpentry, and remodeling tasks to enhance overall project outcomes. Conduct floor care procedures such as buffing, polishing, sealing, and maintenance to ensure longevity of installed floors. Experience Proven experience in flooring installation or related construction work with a strong understanding of construction estimating. Familiarity with tile laying, caulking, carpentry, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and restoration industry practices. Hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools for various construction tasks including concrete finishing and remodeling projects. Knowledge of water damage restoration processes and floor care techniques is highly desirable. Prior work on construction sites with exposure to schematics reading, fixture installation, cabinetry work, or handyman tasks is preferred. Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork skills is essential for success in this role.
