As a Floor Installer, you will be traveling to different job sites. You will also be accurately measuring each room, determining the amount of flooring needed for the space, and using best practices to lay each type of flooring to provide a beautiful, safe final product. The ideal candidate has experience in commercial and residential flooring installation and can work well within a team environment. Responsibilities Look at a room and determine the flooring needs, including the type of underlay required for the material usedMeasure rooms and spaces to determine the amount of flooring needed to complete the projectWork safely and cleanly on the job site, following best practices from both the company and the flooring manufacturerLay multiple types of flooring, including broadloom carpet, carpet tiles, LVP, LVT, sheet vinyl, linoleum, grinding and polishing concrete, and moreQualificationsPrevious flooring installation experience desiredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to regularly lift and move heavy objects, and work on your hands and kneesStrong customer service skillsInterest in learning new techniques and the ability to adapt to different environments
