Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Helper/Floor Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist experienced flooring professionals in the installation, restoration, and finishing of various flooring materials. Responsibilities Support floor installers with the preparation, measurement, and layout of flooring projects based on technical drawings and construction plans Assist with the installation of epoxy floors, vinyl flooring, hardwood, tile, carpet, and other flooring materials using hand tools and power tools Handle building materials safely and efficiently, including cutting, fitting, caulking, and finishing surfaces Participate in water damage restoration projects by removing damaged materials and preparing surfaces for repair or new installation Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety compliance and efficient workflow Follow all safety protocols related to construction site operations, equipment use, and material handling Interpret technical drawings and instructions to support precise installation and restoration tasks Skills Experience with construction, building material installation, and remodeling projects Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, drills, caulking guns, buffing machines, and other power tools Knowledge of flooring installation techniques including epoxy floor application, tile laying, vinyl floor installation, hardwood floor installation, carpet fitting, and floor refinishing Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately Manual handling skills for lifting heavy materials safely throughout the project lifecycle Familiarity with water damage restoration processes and industry standards for building installation safety compliance Handyman experience with fixture installation, caulking, buffing, and general renovation tasks Construction site experience with an emphasis on safety procedures and quality workmanship Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to craftsmanship excellence!
