We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Floor Tech to join our team at Monticello Health and Rehab in Monticello, FL. As a Floor Tech, you will be responsible for maintaining, cleaning, and restoring various types of flooring to ensure safety, cleanliness, and aesthetic appeal in our commercial facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and maintenance: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing carpets, and cleaning hard surfaces such as tile, vinyl, wood, and concrete.

Floor restoration:

Stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, and refinishing floors to extend their lifespan and maintain appearance.

Equipment operation:

Using floor care machines such as buffers, vacuums, carpet extractors, sweepers, and chemical dispensing units safely and effectively.

Safety compliance:

Installing non-slip surfaces, following chemical handling protocols, and adhering to health and safety standards to prevent accidents.

Inspection and reporting:

Checking floors for damage, wear, or hazards, and reporting maintenance issues to supervisors.

Requirements:
