• KC Painting & Coatings, based in Alpharetta, GA, is seeking an experienced Floor Coatings Technician II (Tech II) to join our Coatings Division. This role is ideal for a skilled technician who can work independently, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and help support and guide less experienced team members in a fast-paced field environment. Scope of Work Densifiers, polishing, resinous/epoxy floor systems, and concrete repair. Responsibilities Perform floor coating applications in accordance with project scope, specifications, and safety standards. Arrive prepared and ready to work at designated job sites, with the ability to work independently on assigned tasks. Support the Crew Leader by communicating jobsite conditions, material needs, and any issues that may impact progress. Assist with mentoring and guiding less experienced technicians through proper techniques and best practices. Properly use and maintain tools, materials, and equipment required for floor coating applications. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional jobsite at all times. Follow all safety protocols, including consistent use of required PPE. Be flexible and available for occasional weekend or out-of-town work as required by project needs. Uphold company policies, procedures, and standards of professionalism while on the job and on company property. Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in floor coatings or related construction work. Hands-on knowledge of floor coating materials, tools, and application techniques. Strong understanding of jobsite safety practices. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team. Willingness and ability to lead by example and assist in mentoring junior technicians. Strong communication skills. Reliable transportation and flexibility in work schedule. Valid driver's license. Ability to pass a background check and drug screen upon hire. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred , but not required.
