For our reclaim/repair floor, utility workers are repairing carpet sent back to us after being used and abused at trade shows. Damage from forklifts, holes, burn marks, tire damage just to name a few, is cut out and placed in the appropriate container. Carpet rolls from 20' to 100' are unrolled by hand, inspected, bad carpet cut out and good carpet seamed back together. Job requires lifting up to 50lbs and being on hands and knees a lot. Cut resistant gloves and knee pads are provided to all employees.
