WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will start with training to learn our methods of operation and training in important health and safety practices. You will then begin working with a team to repair and upgrade industrial and commercial concrete floor slabs. Your duties will include operating equipment, ensuring the equipment is in good working order, and applying specialist materials to carry out floor joint repairs, floor resurfacing using cementitious floor systems, and grinding, in a demanding environment. Your assignment could last a few days to a few weeks and be located anywhere in the United States. As you progress in your knowledge and proficiency of our work, you may have the opportunity to develop leadership skills by serving as the on-site foreman in charge of running the project. This will involve administrative responsibilities such as keeping maintenance manuals, expense accounts, timesheets, and the like. Your successful progression through various types of floor remediations and eventual on-site leadership capabilities will be linked to your salary increases.
WHAT WE OFFER
In addition to the starting salary of $65,000, you will be eligible for: Overtime pay at time and a half when necessary to work over 40 hours a week A matching 401(k) plan, available after successful completion of a probationary period. Participation in an insurance plan that includes medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance options with a Company contribution. Daily per diem for food and incidentals while out of town.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
High school diploma or GED Ability to travel with short notice, including weekends, and be away from home for extended periods Ability to communicate effectively and professionally Valid driver's license Willingness to learn and take instruction Experience working with industrial floors; mechanical experience; forklift certification; or experience with optical leveling equipment preferred but not required CoGri USA is an equal opportunity employer.
