Duties Assist experienced flooring installers with preparing work sites according to construction plans and schematics Handle and transport building materials such as hardwood, vinyl, tile, epoxy, and carpet using hand tools and power tools Support with the installation of various flooring types including epoxy floors, hardwood, vinyl, tile, and carpet Help with surface preparation tasks like floor refinishing, buffing, water damage restoration, and floor care maintenance Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate installation aligned with project specifications Perform manual handling of heavy materials and equipment safely following building installation safety compliance standards Aid in fixture installation, trim carpentry, caulking, and remodeling tasks as needed to ensure seamless finishes Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly during each project phase Skills Basic knowledge of construction estimating and reading construction plans or schematics Familiarity with hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels, and measuring tapes; experience with power tools preferred Understanding of building material installation techniques across various flooring types including hardwood, vinyl, tile, epoxy, and carpet Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately for precise installation work Experience with construction site safety protocols and adherence to safety regulations during all phases of work Strong manual handling skills for lifting heavy materials safely over long periods Knowledge of floor refinishing processes like buffing or water damage restoration is a plus Previous construction or remodeling experience is highly desirable; handyman or carpentry background is beneficial Excellent teamwork skills combined with proactive communication to support the lead installer effectively Join us in creating stunning floors that transform spaces!
