About Us EventRent is a growing event rental company specializing in large-scale tenting, flooring, power distribution, and temporary event infrastructure. We support everything from private events to large commercial installations. As we expand into more complex builds, we're looking for dependable, mechanically inclined crew members who take pride in doing things right. Position Overview This is not a basic setup job. As part of our Structure Installation Crew, you'll help build large tents, install advanced flooring systems (including scaffold-based raised flooring), and assist with temporary power distribution systems for events. This role is ideal for someone with a background in construction, framing, staging, or equipment operation who wants steady work, variety, and the opportunity to grow into a lead or specialist role. Key Responsibilities Install and dismantle large event tents (frame tents, pole tents, clearspan structures) Assemble and level flooring systems, including raised flooring built on scaffold systems Assist with setup and teardown of temporary power distribution systems (cable runs, panels, generators under supervision) Load, unload, and organize equipment and materials Operate forklifts, telehandlers, and other equipment (training provided if needed) Read basic layouts and follow install plans Work as part of a crew to complete jobs efficiently and safely Maintain a clean and organized job site Represent the company professionally on-site What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and reliability (shows up on time, ready to work) Mechanically inclined / comfortable using tools Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working on uneven terrain Comfortable working at heights (for tent structures and raised flooring) Team-oriented with a positive attitude Valid driver's license preferred Preferred Experience (Not Required, But a Big Plus) Construction, framing, carpentry, or scaffolding experience Tent, stage, or event installation Experience with temporary power, generators, or electrical distribution Equipment operation (forklift, skid steer, telehandler) Crew leadership or job site experience Ability to read site plans or layout drawings Pay & Growth Opportunities $18 - $26/hour depending on experience and skill level Opportunities to advance into: Crew Lead ($22-$28/hr) Power / Equipment Specialist roles Overtime available during peak season Davis Bacon Act Wages apply to some jobs Why Work With Us Steady, hands-on work (not stuck in one place every day) Opportunity to build real, transferable skills (structures, power, equipment) Clear path to higher pay and leadership roles Work on unique and large-scale event setups Supportive, team-focused environment Schedule Flexible but typically includes weekdays, with some weekends during peak season Longer hours during large installs (with overtime)

$18.00 - $28.00 per hour
