Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tile Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing a variety of flooring and wall tiles, ensuring precise craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to transforming spaces with beautiful, durable tile work that meets client specifications and industry standards. Duties Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute tile installation projects. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary materials such as adhesives or waterproofing agents before laying tiles. Install various types of flooring including epoxy floors, vinyl, hardwood, carpet, and tile with precision and attention to detail. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and secure tiles or related materials. Perform floor refinishing, water damage restoration, drywall installation, caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture installation as needed for comprehensive project completion. Ensure all work complies with building installation safety standards and industry best practices. Assist in remodeling projects by providing skilled craftsmanship in flooring installation, cabinetry, painting, concrete finishing, and restoration tasks. Skills Extensive experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Proficiency with hand tools such as trowels, chisels, levels, saws; as well as power tools including drills and tile cutters. Strong manual handling skills for lifting heavy materials safely during installation processes. Knowledge of building material installation techniques across multiple flooring types: tile laying, epoxy floors, vinyl floors, hardwood floors, carpeting. Familiarity with floor care practices including buffing and refinishing to maintain high-quality finishes. Ability to work efficiently on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols related to building installation safety compliance. Experience with schematics for fixture installation or cabinetry; understanding of restoration industry standards is a plus. Skilled in remodeling tasks such as drywall finishing and construction painting; capable of supporting handyman duties when required.
