Boss Carpet One is looking for a skilled, dependable flooring installer to join our team in Dixon. You'll work directly with homeowners, designers, and our team to deliver professional installations from start to finish. That includes floor preparation, layout, cutting, installation, trim and finishing details, and leaving the customer's home clean and professional when the job is complete. What We're Looking For You don't necessarily need years of flooring installation experience. Strong finish-carpentry skills can translate very well to this position. We're looking for someone with: 5+ years of experience in finish carpentry, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, millwork, hardwood flooring, flooring installation, or a similar skilled trade Strong skills with table saws, miter saws, circular saws, routers, nail guns, and other hand and power tools Good attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship Experience working directly with customers Valid driver's license and clean driving record Reliable personal transportation to and from work Ability to safely lift and carry flooring and materials up to 50 lbs. Ability to pass a background check, DMV check, and drug screening The Person We're Looking For We value craftsmanship, reliability, honesty, and professionalism .
