This is a hands-on, field-based position responsible for helping ensure flooring installations meet company standards, manufacturer requirements, and customers' expectations. The Field Services Supervisor works closely with customers, subcontracted installation crews, Project Coordinators, Sales Associates and management to identify concerns, solve problems, and keep projects moving forward. The ideal candidate will have experience in flooring, construction, or a related trade and be comfortable working independently in the field. Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail are essential to this position. Key Responsibilities
  • Visit active and upcoming flooring projects to evaluate jobsite conditions and installation concerns.
  • Perform pre-installation site assessments as need.
  • Evaluate substrate conditions, including flatness, moisture, existing flooring, and other conditions that may affect installations.
  • Monitor installation quality and workmanship across carpet, LVP, hardwood, laminate, and other flooring installations.
  • Work directly with subcontracted installation crews to address jobsite conditions, installation requirements, and workmanship concerns.
  • Troubleshoot installation and service issues and help determine appropriate solutions.
  • Meet with customers to evaluate concerns, explain findings, and assist with resolving installation-related issues.
  • Maintain timely communication with Project Coordinators regarding field conditions, installation progress, service concerns, material needs, and issues that may affect the schedule or scope of work. Document field conditions through photographs, notes, and other information needed for internal follow-up.
  • Assist with minor service or corrective work when appropriate.
  • Make sound decisions independently in the field while recognizing when management involvement is necessary.
