Job Description

Capozza Floor Covering Center is seeking an experienced Flooring Installer to join our installation team. While this position may work with a variety of flooring materials, we are specifically looking for someone with strong ceramic and porcelain tile installation experience. The ideal candidate is a versatile flooring professional who takes pride in detailed craftsmanship and can complete quality installations independently and as part of a team. Primary Responsibilities Install ceramic, porcelain, stone, and other tile products on floors, walls, showers, backsplashes, and related surfaces. Measure, lay out, cut, fit, and install tile according to project plans and specifications. Complete substrate preparation, waterproofing, grouting, caulking, sealing, and finishing work. Install other flooring products based on experience and business needs. Assist with demolition, material handling, jobsite preparation, and other installation-related responsibilities. Review work orders, plans, specifications, and jobsite conditions before beginning work. Identify and communicate jobsite or material concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Properly use and care for company tools, equipment, and vehicles. Follow manufacturer requirements, company procedures, and workplace safety standards. Communicate professionally with coworkers, customers, contractors, and other trades. Required Qualifications Valid Drivers License Professional flooring installation experience. Demonstrated ceramic and porcelain tile installation experience. Knowledge of tile layout, surface preparation, waterproofing, mortar application, grouting, and finishing techniques. Ability to use wet saws, grinders, hand tools, and other installation equipment safely. Willingness and ability to assist with other types of flooring installation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay:
$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
