Job Description

Position Overview Join a growing team that's modernizing how hardwood floors are restored. As a Technician, you'll work on-site executing our proprietary floor recoating process under the direction of the Team Lead. This is hands-on work where precision, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic directly impact quality and customer satisfaction. You'll be trained from the ground up on our process, and there's room to grow as you master the work and prove yourself reliable. We're a fast-paced franchise operation scaling rapidly. The franchisor has modernized hardwood floor restoration with a faster, dust-free, eco-friendly process that costs less and preserves irreplaceable material. That matters enormously in a state full of historic homes, where traditional sanding permanently removes material that cannot be put back. We're opening the Camden to Dover territories in January 2027. What You'll Do Execute floor recoating jobs on site: prep, product application, quality inspection, and cleanup Follow established processes and quality standards set by the Team Lead Work on residential and commercial projects of varying scope and duration Maintain materials, equipment, and the work van in organized, ready condition Communicate effectively with the Team Lead and customers during jobs Complete training and stay current with process updates What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and attention to detail; you take pride in quality work Hands-on experience in flooring, painting, construction, or a related trade is a plus. We will train you on our specific process from scratch, so direct floor refinishing experience is not required Comfortable being on your feet and hands-on at job sites throughout the day Comfortable with phone-based scheduling, using an iPad and key applications to manage jobs Valid driver's license and a clean record; you will be driving our wrapped van Ability to take direction, follow processes consistently, and adapt to feedback Team player who communicates well and shows up ready to work Reliable and punctual Physically able to work full days on your feet The Work Itself Jobs vary in scope and duration. Residential work can typically be completed in a day, while commercial projects may run multiple days at 8 hours per day. You'll work under the Team Lead's direction as they sequence and manage the schedule. Your Growth Path This is a growing business. If you're reliable, coachable, and interested in learning a skilled trade, you'll have opportunities to take on more responsibility and advance as the business grows.
