Capozza Floor Covering Center is seeking an experienced Flooring Installer to join our installation team. While this position may work with a variety of flooring materials, we are specifically looking for someone with strong commercial vinyl and flash-cove installation experience. The ideal candidate is a versatile flooring professional who can complete high-quality installations independently and as part of a team. Primary Responsibilities Install commercial sheet vinyl, including flash-cove applications. Complete heat welding, seam work, cove former, cap strip, inside and outside corners, and transitions. Install other flooring products based on experience and business needs, which may include LVT, VCT, rubber flooring, carpet tile, or other resilient products. Prepare substrates through scraping, patching, leveling, sanding, and other required methods. Measure, cut, fit, and install materials accurately. Review work orders, plans, specifications, and jobsite conditions before beginning work. Identify and communicate jobsite or material concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Properly use and care for company tools, equipment, and vehicles. Follow manufacturer requirements, company procedures, and workplace safety standards. Communicate professionally with coworkers, customers, contractors, and other trades. Required Qualifications Valid Drivers License Professional flooring installation experience. Demonstrated commercial sheet vinyl and flash-cove installation experience. Experience with heat welding and commercial seam preparation. Knowledge of substrate preparation, adhesives, and installation methods. Willingness and ability to assist with other types of flooring installation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Pay:

$25.00 - $32.00 per hour
